Today we'll be looking at the usage of "N 만에" Korean grammar point with some examples.

Usage :

This grammar pattern is used to refer to a period of time that has been passed after an event started. 

Conjugation rule :

It is attached after Noun and can be conjugated in 만에 or 만이다. Using either of the conjugations won't change the meaning.


Like for example. :

1. 1달만에 - In 1 month. 

2. 3년만이다 - It's been 3 years. 

3. It’s been a long time!

오랜만이다!

4. The hottest day in 10 years.

10년 만에 온 가장 더운 날이다.

5. It's been a year since I've had Korean convenience store food.  

한국 편의점 음식을 먹는 것이 1년 만이다.

6. Yeobin came back after an hour.

여빈 한 시간 만에 돌아왔어요.
