Terms used to denote the Korean language are different for both North and South Korea, even though both North and South Koreans speak Korean. The difference is due to the different vocabulary or dialect used by two separate countries. It is considered different.
The standard Korean language used by Koreans is referred to as 한국어 ( Hangul-eo )
한국 means Korea 어 comes from 언어 meaning language.
The Korean language spoken by North Koreans is called 북한어 or 문화어
Originally North Korean is almost the same as what South Korean people speak, but is used to distinguish those two individually.
The term 조선어 was used in the early 1900s under Japanese rule. Now it's no longer used in day-to -day life.
The way to write and under the conjugation of how language is written for different countries.
You simply have to add 어 after the country name and that's it.
For example :
1) 영국 Is United Kingdom
영국어 or 영어 Is English
2) 일본 Is Japan
일본어 Is Japanese
3) 중국 Is China
중국어 or 중어 Is Chinese
