Learning grammar is one of the most difficult things for Korean language learners. On this blog, we will try to help you learn Korean grammar in the quickest and easiest way possible. This blog will be helpful for those who are studying the Korean language and want to improve their grammar skills.
Today, we’ll look at how to form sentences using the Korean grammar pattern “A/V/N ~을/ㄹ지 모르겠다”, along with some example sentences.
A/V/N ~을/ㄹ지 모르겠다 is used when the speaker is unsure about something or cannot decide about an action.
It is equivalent to saying “I don’t know whether/if …” in English.
It can be used with adjectives, verbs, and nouns.
~을/ㄹ지 모르겠다 - used with adjectives and verbs
~일지 모르겠다 - used with nouns
There are three ways to use this grammar pattern:
을/ㄹ지 모르겠다 - for present or future tense verbs and adjectives
었을지/았을지/였을지 모르겠다 - for past tense verbs and adjectives
일지 모르겠다 - when used with nouns
