Today, we’ll see how to form sentences with the grammar pattern “(으)ㅂ시다,” along with some example sentences.

EXAMPLE SENTENCES

• 공부합시다. - Let's study.
• 내일 봅시다. - See you tomorrow.
• 회의를 시작합시다. - Let's start this meeting.
• 다음에 이야기 합시다. - Let's talk next time.
• 점심 식사합시다. - Let's have lunch.
• 지하철을 탑시다. - Let's take the subway.
• 10분 후에 출발합시다. - Let's depart after 10 minutes.

NOTE:

The informal form of (으)ㅂ시다 is V + 자.

You can drop (으)ㅂ시다 at the end of sentences and instead use 자 when speaking with friends or someone close to you.
