Today we'll be looking at the usage of "다시피" Korean grammar pattern with some example sentences.
A connective ending used to mean 'As you can…….'or 'As you'.
It is used mainly with sensory and perception verbs such as 알다 (to know),보다 (to see), and 듣다 (to hear).
- As you can see./ As you see. - 보다시피
- As you may know./As you know. - 알다시피
- As you can hear her. - 그녀를 듣다시피
- As you must realize - 알다시피
Conjugation rule :
Irrespective of whether the verb stem ends with a consonant or vowel you simply have to add 다시피 after the verb stem.
Lets see some example sentences :
1. 너도 알다시피 내일이 마이야의 생일이야.
As you know, tomorrow is Maya's birthday.
2. 너도보다시피 여기는 의자가 없지 않니.
As you can see, there are no chairs here.

7. 알다시피 이 세상에 완벽한 것이란 없다.

The thing to keep in mind is that 다시피 하다 has a totally different meaning. It is a different word ending that means "practically", "almost like", or "nearly" so do not get confused between the two.
1. 그는 여기서 살다시피 한다
He practically lives here.
